Evening all, and sending every good wish.

I'm on Seebri, as part of the regime to manage my COPD. It's a capsule that you put in a little gadget that punctures it, then you inhale it.

This evening, while chatting to Mr P (well, to be totally honest, I was chatting, Mr P was sort of nodding, going "um" and the occasional "yes", I suppose I should have taken the opportunity to ask for something outrageous smile, like an exotic holiday, rampant sex, blush or a bit of a bloody move on with the decorating angry)

But, as ever, I digress.

I swallowed the damn thing! shock and even worse, washed it down with a sip wink of Cava! I just got it confuddled with the other thing I take at 6pm (when the "bongs" go on Radio 4) which is also a capsule, and is meant to be swallowed.

Still alive...............

Gosh. How are non smelly farts somehow good for you? It's extremely good news for me. Its my one real talent!
We once had a beautiful and extremely dignified lady cat but, boy oh boy, every now and then we'd be engulfed in a cloud of poison gas from her. It was beneath her dignity to accept any responsibility and came as a complete surprise to her every time!

Jane10 we once had a dog like that - she would jump up and look round at her rear end in total confusion grin

Many years ago we had a lady who helped out in my parent's hotel kitchen - she would be in her late 60's early 70's I guess (ancient to me in my late teens back then!) She frequently broke wind which we all tried to ignore but she just carried on as though nothing had happened. I always remember my mum saying quietly but it smells rather awful doesn't it - then in her later years saying eeh listen to me blowing off grin

Re non smelly farts, I don't suppose it's actually the sense of smell that deteriorates as we get older?? grin

I assume the non-smell shows that it’s just healthy gas, no nasty fermentation’s going on inside - and it’s better out than in. The remark was just an aside thrown in by a doctor on the radio about something entirely different. I just thought ‘oh good, I’m normal then’.

"This the answering service for Phoenix. She is currently unavailable due to a misunderstanding with regard to the amount of Cava that should be consumed during hot weather. Please leave your message after the tone."
