Quite by chance, I have discovered that Nuxe oil seems to repell insects. I am usually a magnet for anything that bites or stings, especially on warm summer evenings, but a month ago my sister gave a garden party and I sat late into the evening chatting. Getting undressed later, I noticed that I had a couple of mosquito bites on my shoulder, but none on my arms or legs. I concluded that my shoulder was the only accessible skin that had not had Nuxe dry oil on it. Since then I have not been bitten once. On Thursday, for instance, a group of us were outside on a very warm evening. Everyone was bitten except me, one friend having to be treated with antibiotics for an infected bite. Has anyone else experienced this benefit? I have used Avon Skin- So-Soft in the past, with good results, but I prefer the smell of Nuxe.
