Only just seen this thread but want to say how awful this situation has been and still is for you morethan but some good news now for you at least.I hope your DD will make a full recovery from this dreadfull illness.Your GN friends are thinking of you.

I think we have all been apprehensive waiting for news today morethan so it was 10 times worse for you and your family.

Thank goodness the news is a little better. Truly hope you can all catch up on some much needed rest tonight and that she is more comfortable too.

I've just got in from work and I've come straight on from work, I must say dreading the worst. But no, instead you have had the most wonderful news. Obviously its a very long road but one step at a time. I'm so, so happy for you all.

Better news. My DiL is now regain consciousnes and has regognised my son. Her speech is returning. They’ve said she out of immediate danger. The thought is that the radiotherapy had caused her brain to swell and that caused the seizures. I just wish the doctors hadn’t been so pessimistic. When she arrived by ambulance they told my son that she may not recover and that in the circumstances they wouldn’t try to resuscitate her. He was truly terrified and in turn so were the rest of us. Of course the treatment for the brain cancer can’t go ahead just yet but eventually it will have to be re started. I just can’t thank you all enough you helped me through what was one of the worst 24 hours of my life. It was truly awful and you were all magnificent. I am soo very grateful that you took the time to comfort me and who knows all those positive vibes and prayers may very well have helped. Thank you
