Annie
I am thinking of you. You are so encouraging of everyone on here. And helpful too. You will get through this and l will too. Not easy and nobody can diminish our efforts. Only if you have the black dog can you ever truly understand it. At least now we know we are not alone.
Peace to everyone from Dawn.

Good one nonnie I’ll try that next time ?
annie you sound as though you are getting stressed because you have so much going on. Try not thinking about all the problems in one go. Work on the accounts and leave the other problems till after. As for HMRC - go get em annie ?

Thank you all x

I have been busy, found a gardener so this will keep the council quiet.

Have found a Reiki healer , she will make a house visit, hope it will help until I can have the x Ray.

Spoke to MIND they assured me if I need medical help from the surgery I will not have to go there, it’s next to that bridge.

The nutritionist always withholds her number so I will ignore all withheld numbers for a while , give me time to think about my eating disorder.

Am now going to treat myself to a Peace Lilly because the one I have had for years died. I like these plants .

KatyK Mon 29-Apr-19 14:26:16

I agree with what others have said Annie You are so supportive to others (including me) despite your own awful struggles. I too love a peace lily. A friend, who subsequently died at 52, bought me one years ago. I am rubbish with plants but my lily is thriving after all these years. I think my friend is looking after it smile

Anniebach commiserations about the council work, they here are wanting to do the electrics but I am bedbound at least 3-4 days a week with my ME/CFS, not a good place to be with workmen piling into my flat.
It’s not a home when you can’t say no.

I postponed my yearly blood test last week because felt awful, the next day I received one of the GP surgeries charming letters saying if I don’t make an appointment, my prescription will be stopped.

No idea of vulnerability nor mental health. Nor the principle of consent.

I too am alone after a life of working hard. Beats me how to cope with it all.

Anniebach Tue 30-Apr-19 08:37:53

Sparkly electrics ? hell bells the thought of new windows and doors stressed me but rewiring your flat ? True about not a home, hope you can go for the blood tests you need your medication. When I needed blood tests because of the eating disorder my GP had a nurse come to my bungalow to take them, think they came five times . Do you not have a GP who is understanding of mental health illnesses ?

Anniebach Tue 30-Apr-19 08:42:00

Dragonfly you have the appointment with the oncologist
today, please tell him/her everything , you need support .

We will be thinking of you x

Hello all x

Joce345 Tue 30-Apr-19 09:31:09

Hi Annie how are you doing this morning. Hope you are feeling better ...

Anniebach Tue 30-Apr-19 10:17:45

Hello again x

Feel jumpy, tummy churning and neck so stiff, feel the same in the bungalow as I do trying to go out.

Writing to a friend this morning I recalled something I was told years ago .

A barrel with the lid firmly fitted, pump water into the barrel, keep pumping and the lid will fly off.

Makes sense yes ?

wot Tue 30-Apr-19 11:01:02

I am in despair (slightly) my immersion heater kept blowing a fuse and I had a plumber round who said I needed his electrician to call as well as the heater needed totally rewiring as it was dangerous where I had it plugged in. Now electrician says he can't do the work because I have the old type fuse box. So no hot water since Thursday. I can't afford a huge amount. This cottage is so old all sorts of bits are falling apart ( including me)

wot Tue 30-Apr-19 11:02:07

Yes, Annie. Totally agree with you. My barrel is full.

Joce345 Tue 30-Apr-19 11:31:08

Yes keep pumping. Some times it very hard to do. I am feeling very much the same as you this morning Annie. Errrr I am just so worried horrible feeling in my stomach feel sick. Really don’t know how I feel... waiting for results from my GD scan tests she 2 years old.. friend waiting for her results hopefully today ... why can I never relax

humptydumpty Tue 30-Apr-19 12:00:16

wot I sympathise, I recently wanted different lightin in my flat and was told I would have to have a new fuse box. I do hope you can get your heater sorted without that as it's not cheap - why not get a second opininion?

wot Tue 30-Apr-19 12:17:52

Yes, another electrician is coming round later today. I explained the difficulty to him and he said he thought the other guy just didn't want the work. I am also trying to tidy up my 60 x*60 feet garden which has been terribly neglected. I was enjoying that but now I feel like giving up all round.

SparklyGrandma Tue 30-Apr-19 12:26:15

Anniebach I know, retiring with me in it. They allege they can do it in one day.
I have a ruptured spinal disc and can’t move anything but certainly not big items of furniture- which will need to be moved for them to retire.

No the GP surgery has real problems, they were in direct management up to 4 years ago. I think they have got used to talking down to ordinary people in the area and telling people what to do.
I have lived in London for 4 decades so am used to consent, being included in decisions regarding my healthcare and doctors being lovely.

Hey ho.

SparklyGrandma Tue 30-Apr-19 12:26:46

Retire! Sorry people x

SparklyGrandma Tue 30-Apr-19 12:27:10

Rewire.

Nonnie Tue 30-Apr-19 12:42:29

When you barrel overflows pour it on here.

A dear friend gave me a peace lily when DS died suddenly bit I killed it off somehow. However, the aloe vera I brought back from DS's home is really thriving so I look at it and think of him.

wot Tue 30-Apr-19 13:06:58

That's lovely, Nonnie.

Joce345 Tue 30-Apr-19 16:45:06

How you feeling this evening Annie do hope you are better big hugs

Anniebach Tue 30-Apr-19 19:36:12

Hi x

Did 6 hours on the vat today, younger granddaughter drove down to do the writing for me, writing difficult with arthritis. I was fine , tired but no anxiety. My problem now is because I woke Sunday morning in a panic I now feel anxious about mornings , can anyone relate to this ?

Joce345 Tue 30-Apr-19 21:19:55

Annie I cannot cope with morning they are so bad. I wake up like it every morning, it does seem to wear of as the day goes on, never leaves me but does get better.. I cannot eat till tea time when I have calmed done some. Hope it’s a one off for you Annie I really do. Try not to think about it on much hopefully it will pass for you

Anniebach Tue 30-Apr-19 21:41:49

Joce how awful for you my love. It flares when I wake, feel lightheaded , but eases after breakfast, haven’t experienced it for years , when it hit me early Sunday morning I had such a stiff neck then it all flared up.

Can you not eat anything earlier? You sugar levels ! It saddens me so much that you feel so wretched every day , if hugs could help I would send you many x
