DD will be discharged from hospital this afternoon.

I shall I light a candle in church for your DD, you and family tomorrow. How lucky she is surrounded by all who love her.

Thank you all for your kind messages and concern. DD rallied the morning after my last post and the last couple of days have been filled with her care, pain control and emotional support. The hospice staff are wonderful and we have a flat at our disposal where we can grab sleep, shower and prepare meals. We are truly lucky to be so well supported. DD is very sleepy today, the pain medication is constantly being topped up and there is a lot of confusion. In my heart of hearts I want it to be over soon but she's still fighting so we're with her every step of the way.
