Update. I have tonsillitis and water infection. Not much recollection of saying don’t ring. On penicillin now. Thanks Grans

If you think she is ill, please make the phone call. It should be your decision and you are obviously worried so please do make the call.

I would phone now as she clearly needs some professional help. Please let us know. x

I agree. They are very helpful and will not think you are being a nuisance. Phone them!

She’s not being a nuisance it’s there for advice and help if needs be.

BlueBelle Sun 19-May-19 09:32:45

Ring 111 they are only advisory and won’t be bothered by your call but they will know by the answers you give whether your wife needs an ambulance or a doctor or can wait till tomorrow, she could well have a kidney infection with the bad back pain (if it’s lower) but the temperature and shivering indicate an infection much best you get advice and possible attention now than wait till it gets worse
So my advice is don’t wait

I’d definitely phone 111 for some advice.

My wife is in bed with raging temp/shivering and mega back pain. (Dh typing). 2 days now. I think phone she says no ring tomorrow doesn’t want to be a nuisance
