Thank you Teetime trying to nibble every couple of hours at the moment and lots of hot water and lemon. Why is it when you are ill you go right off tea?

I think its about restoring your health generally so kits a light diet of whatever you fancy that doesn't make you nauseous...plain boiled rice, a few crackers for now, toast - most important to keep up your fluid intake for now and then gradually introduce some protein- plainly cooked chicken for example. I hope you feel better soon.

Can anyone help with ideas to raise my blood pressure. After getting back from Peru I was really ill with diarrhoea and in bed for a week. My blood pressure has always been low but has dropped again and I feel light headed and nauseous. I need to eat to get some weight back on but really don’t have much appetite. I have had antibiotics to get rid of whatever bug caused the problem so need to replace the good bacteria now but recommended by the doctor not to eat dairy for a couple of weeks. Help really appreciated please.
