Has anyone used this to treat skin complaints such as dermatitis or excema.I read up on the fruit and it suggests they are good for these problems but i wondered if you could use the oil to apply to affected areas.

Avocado (no d) oil is rather heavy. When I have a flare-up, I find evening primrose oil with lavender and chamomile oil mixed in, soothes the itching very quickly.

I have had much success with Aloe Vera Gel for bug bites, scratches and sunburn. It definitely stops itching.
Although I don't have dermatitis I think I would give it a try if I did. Not too sure about excema if you have broken skin.

You may want to consult your pharmacist or Doctor first though.

Another vote for Aloe Vera. Very soothing for all sorts of skin conditions. Haven't tried advocado.

I buy mine at Lidl. Very reasonable price. Less than £2.

Look up Gladskin.com.

I use Sharkilage for my psoriasis, it's the only thing which keeps it in check.

Tried Aloe Vera a long time ago, I used to grow it - had no effect on the psoriasis but was very effective for burns (as is honey).

Tea Tree Oil is marvellous for 1001 things, including bites and stings.

What did you mean by fruit? Do you need to eat them in order to get rid of dermatitis?
