Side-Effects From Antiseptic Cream??

For the last three months now I've been suffering from occasional dizzy spells and associated feelings of queasiness. A recent blood test has flagged up nothing that has caused the NHS to get back to me.

Nonetheless, the symptoms persist. Now this is a crazy thought, but here goes: during roughly the same period of time (and here I mean 24/7) I've been rubbing antiseptic ointment (Sudocrem) on to a small but persistent boil (fungal infection?) located very close to my right nostril. Lately I've become aware that Sudocrem has a distinct odour, and, well, putting two and two together, I'm starting to wonder if there is a connection of some kind. . .

NB. I'm pretty much an innocent when it comes to medical matters, so would appreciate any feedback, or advice concerning the above situation. Thanks in advance.

I would speak to your GP about your sore nose if its persisted for a while. Sudocrem is used on babies safely I really don’t think there is any link unless possibly an allergic reaction?

I doubt it’s the Sudocrem but could the ‘unhealing’ boil be related to your ‘feelings’ Any spot that doesn’t heal could be a Basel cell and needs a doctor to check it over
The other thing is the nhs do make mistakes like any organisation and just because you ve heard nothing doesn’t mean you haven’t got anything, phone calls do occasionally get ‘lost’ it’s happened very recently in my family when a blood test taken four months ago revealed something we were never informed of (luckily nothing too serious) but it does now make sense of the symptoms
