Due to an inner ear problem that I've already posted about, I'm forced to spend my time just sleeping or sitting around waiting for the dizziness etc to pass.
No knitting or gardening (bending and moving sets it off, but its been too wet anyway), or Christmas crafts.
So, feeling a bit better and thinking I could sit down to do this job I volunteered to peel pots and parsnips to make a curry flavoured parsnip soup.
My son and husband have both gone down with flu and I thought this would be a nice meal for them.
Two potatoes and one parsnip in and I've cut both my thumbs with a new and very sharp veg knife!
Blood everywhere, and I currently have tissue and elastic bands around said thumbs as the first aid box is too high for me to reach on my own, and H is off buying garlic for his soup!
I think the powers are telling me to just bide my time and be bored!!
Soops kitchen, a place of reflection, refuge and at times revelry.

Don't forget to remove the elastic bands before gangrene sets in!
