annie hope it’s not presumptuous of me to start the thread but I appear to have closed the last one and didn’t want to leave anyone with no where to go.
Welcome all x

joce so glad you have got another room. How lovely for you.
nanny, you do not need to tell us your problems. Sometimes it helps and other times it’s too personal and we don’t want to talk about it. Just know that we are here for you. I hope the MHT see you soon. Glad you went to the GP.
Keep posting a bit. Just anything that you want to say. We all have our personal worries and anxieties and whilst they may all be different, the suffering and pain is the same so we do understand. Take care.
annie hope you are ok.
Sleep well all x

Namsnanny Mon 20-Jan-20 03:06:56

Forgive me for not posting again more regularly. I am thinking of you all and reading, but when it hits it's like a ten tonne truck isn't it? Stops me in my tracks for a while.

Joce345 … your dolls house music room looks so professional, you must have such a lot of patience! I'm so glad you've got your holiday sorted out. I'm looking forward to you spending time with your gc in Disney let alone how you must feel!!

Doodle ...How are you? Thank you for being on the ball and starting this thread off, I wanted to post but too over come for a while.

Flutterby … Hope the weather isn't getting you down too much?

Anniebach ...3 weeks is a long time, I'm so glad you talked to her. I bet she had loads of news. There's nothing like talking even the smallest things over with a loved one.
As for the sunshine, I hope you've had a good innings where you are?

nanny2507 …. thinking of you and wishing you well.

Joce345 Mon 20-Jan-20 12:05:17

Hi all x

talk , ‘ pulling up the drawbridge’. Post when you feel able to x

joyce* when is the exciting visit to Disney World ? If possible

Did you spend time with your granddaughter Annie?

Anniebach Mon 20-Jan-20 22:24:45

Doodle Mon 20-Jan-20 23:06:53

Glad you had a good time annie. ?
Lovely cake joce.
Changed the bedsheets today and washed them.......and by accident included a tissue. I wonder how long it’s going to take me to get all the little bits of disintegrated tissue out of the washing machine and off the sheets ?
Sleep well all x

Namsnanny Tue 21-Jan-20 01:07:10

Joce345 …. what a cake, looks lovely!

Annibach … I'm so glad for you both. smile

Doodle … I don't envy you. Have you tried running the machine with nothing in it to help wash out the bits?
As for the sheets, I don't know, line dry and brush whilst on the line?
Then re wash?
You've got a busy few days ahead! smile

Bluesky ... hoping your ok?

You too rafichagran and flutterby? flowers

Sleep well moon

Doodle I have read that aspirin desolves tissue don’t know if it works, I do use aspirin in my whites it help keep them white, it won’t hurt anything... put 4 aspirin in the washing machine with the tissue clothes... if you have a dryer that does get a lot off.. good luck!!

Namsnanny Tue 21-Jan-20 12:45:23

joce345 ...that's a piece of useful advice! I didn't know about aspirin in the wash.
Does it have to be dispersable?
I should like to try that smile

Namsnanny Tue 21-Jan-20 12:47:07

Very frosty still here but lovely and sunny too!
Have a productive and peaceful day all smile

I like this from the poetry pharmacy, for courage

COME TO THE EDGE

‘Come to the edge’
‘We might fall’
‘Come to the edge’
‘It’s too high’
‘COME TO THE EDGE’
And they came,
And he pushed,
And they flew.
