I have just read the above article (Can I say which newspaper) talking about more products which help promote making women feel inadequate. I just don’t believe how this rubbish is sold!

MawB Thu 20-Feb-20 11:34:59

Please don’t say this is to do with the Coronavirus (and safe sex) ? gringrin

Products to make your bits look better? Now I've heard everything. I agree it's something else designed to sell by making women/girls feel inadequate. [grrr]

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/fabulous/7278689/vagina-sheet-mask/amp/

For anyone else who, like me, was wondering....?

Good grief, what next!

timetogo2016 Thu 20-Feb-20 12:10:04

Well whoever buys this must be a nutter.
What is going on in this world eh.
Why can`t women just accept we are what were born with and should be happy.

sodapop Thu 20-Feb-20 12:17:31

So full of twee cliches "lady bits" "down there". Are there penis masks perchance grin

lavenderzen Thu 20-Feb-20 12:18:11

Good heavens. Another thing to make girls think they have to conform to some rubbish idea!

A friend does a great deal to help another old friend of hers who now has mobility problems and other health problems. Both are in their eighties. The friend-of-a-friend berated her for "not being feminine enough".

Friend-of-a-friend never goes out without full makeup, hair just so and a gallon of perfume liberally applied - but she has three divorces under her belt, is not on speaking terms with any of her family, can't keep carers or helpers as she criticises their appearance and everything they do (as she does to my friend, and even criticises friend's partner although he has put himself out to assist her.)

We should be concentrating on which matters more - outside appearance or inner worth?

Just keep your pants on ladies. Simples!

jo1book Thu 20-Feb-20 12:23:07

Soap and water and fresh air is the cheapest. In the summer go knickerless around house and garden with a long dress or skirt. Nothing like the wind in the willows to feel nice and fresh.
Could I say that the fashion to wear tight jeans does not help. Also, a lot of people wear tight knickers in bed meaning their bits never get aired. Just my opinion. No scientific facts!

jo1book grin and ++.
There must be many young women suffering from vaginal yeast disease.

nanaK54 Thu 20-Feb-20 12:40:34

Re ' old world' grin it was by chance, on one of my usual channel surfing expeditions,I came across 'naked attraction'.
Call me 'dim' but never realised ' female ' bit's' came in so many shapes and sizes?

SueDonim Thu 20-Feb-20 13:25:30

Janeainsworth thank you for Googling so I didn’t have to! grin

Looking at that article, how big do they think our vulvas are?? shockconfusedhmm

TrendyNannie6 Thu 20-Feb-20 18:57:54

How ridiculous but nothing surprises me these days

Grannyjay Fri 21-Feb-20 08:58:29

Constantly trying to devise ways of getting women to be proud of their genitals so we will expose them to the world. Advertising rubbish. Gwyneth Paltrow uses this oh so shocking way to get her products publicity

Riverwalk Fri 21-Feb-20 09:25:19

It’s high time we shift the focus towards better quality maintenance of the vagina - in particular, the vulva.

Maintenance?

And this phrase makes no anatomical sense hmm

Kalu Fri 21-Feb-20 09:41:45

The article itself was funny enough but I chuckled at one reply; This will end up with thrust?. A spelling error of wishful thinking?

Kalu Fri 21-Feb-20 09:42:31

or wishful.
