0ptic migraine

Does anyone else have optic migraines? I get them periodically but have had two in the last few days. In fact I have had to wait for one to pass in order to type this. My vision goes all ziggy zaggy and I can't see properly then I get a really tight headache . The whole thing is usually over in less than an hour. I am told they are nothing to worry about, but they are quite alarming . I wondered if anyone else suffers from them.

Yes I usually notice a blind spot if I am reading then the zig zag that becomes wider until it disappears. Leaves me feeling slightly nauseous but no pain. I once got one whilst playing piano for a carol concert and couldn't read the music!
