How we feel right now might depend on what our ' normal ' lifestyle is like. I realise now that visiting DH in nursing home almost daily, and taking AS, (who has learning difficulties and still at home ), to where he needs to get to plus fitting in DGC pick ups was causing me stress. As a result, this is a restful, calming time in some ways. I have plenty to do - such as jobs in the house and garden which have been neglected in recent months. I enjoy knitting, reading, baking and cooking, and a few months ago, I bought myself some drawing paper and pastel crayons which I hope I can get round to using soon. I'm also going to ' work through ' our many cd's. DH always had music on, and listening to some will cause a few tears, no doubt. At this moment, it's Robbie Williams swing cd. I'm not denying the seriousness of this situation, particularly, for us, the nursing home aspect, but I will use it as a time to recharge my batteries.
