Hi all x

How is everyone ?

Nonnie Mon 18-May-20 10:34:06

why so pleased your plan is working out.

Joce hope the foot is OK and that you get to speak to a doctor.

Message from DS last night "GS said "my best friends in ...... (where we live) are Grandma and Grandad" tears but good ones.

Our important telephone meeting is at 1230 today. Hopefully it will result in the outcome we want at the next big one. Thanks all who are praying and thinking of us. It is much appreciated. Recent prayers have been answered.

Anniebach Sun 17-May-20 21:36:02

Hello everyone
Oh Annie those bottles, good heavens! xx
The picture of your rag doll is lovely Joyce. I also think a call to the doctor is in order with regard to your foot, see how it is in the morning when hopefully you can talk to someone.
Why glad things are moving forward for you, just keep hanging on in there.
Doodle hope you have had a nice day.
Nonnie your lovely little grandchildren make me smile, how lovely to have a video call from the little one who wanted to tell grandma about his poorly leg and the other one joining in smile
I will say a prayer for you Nonnie that tomorrow goes well for you xx
Have a peaceful evening everyone, take care, stay safe and god bless xx

Doodle Sun 17-May-20 13:27:12

annie no!? I can’t believe they couldn’t take them back. Apart from all the work and pain it’s going to cause for you surely it’s a waste. Do they have a limited shelf life so that can’t be used by anyone else? Wish we could all come over and help you. We’d get the job done in no time. Not surprised you’re ?
nonnie lovely little exchange with your DGC.?. Thinking of you tomorrow and hoping for a positive result.
why that sounds like good news. Keep packing ?
joce I think a phone call to the GP is definitely the way to go. You don’t want an open wound getting infected. It needs treatment I think. Hope it’s not too painful
Take care all

Joce345 Sun 17-May-20 13:19:47

Aww no Annie nightmare, what a task you have..your poor hands. x

Nonnie kiddies they are so funny. I will pray for you...

Thank you for your lovely comments on the rag doll...

why good news new home new life, fingers crossed, you go girl..

think I might have to ring doctor in morning foot still not stoped leaking.. see how it goes today ....
Have a good day everyone ?

Anniebach Sun 17-May-20 12:12:43

whywhy good luck, do let us know x

whywhywhy Sun 17-May-20 11:46:08

Hi all. Joce - I love the rag doll and lately I have been doing a little bit of embroidery which I came across while packing.

Annie - all those bottles, wow! X

Good news as I might be able to move out some time next week. I’ll keep you all posted and thank you for being there for me. Have the best day that you can. X

Nonnie Sun 17-May-20 11:00:57

joce so talented, rag doll is great. You are all putting me to shame!

Doodle I needed to feel I achieved something and did but I broke part of the oven door when I tried to put it all back together again.

annie bottles sound like a real chore.

Positive of the day - woken up by video call, GS had hurt his knee and wanted to show Grandma. Very sad face, couldn't walk, then forgot and played with his train set, then remembered and limped! Little one had to have a 'hurt' as well. Just had photos of them at the farm collecting fresh milk.

For those of you with a faith, please pray for us tomorrow when we have this difficult task in preparation for a bigger one. It has to actually happen tomorrow, it really does. Thanks

Now off to paint some garden furniture.

Hi all x

How is everyone ?

I have been kind to you all for two days, no mention of bottles,
stand by - two days ago the delivery van arrived from the
Pharmacy- 7 trays of bottles, an error by the surgery, couldn’t
take them back.

210 bottles , I have to unscrew, pour out contents and recycle
they are stacked in my hall against the airing cupboard door,
can’t even get a clean towel. Have to take them to kitchen to
empty then back to hall for recycling.

No depression, no anxiety, just ?

Hello nonnie hope you had a good day. Ironing and cleaning the oven doesn’t sound like much fun?
joce your foot sounds really painful. If it gets any worse I’d check up with the doctor if I were you. Hope it improves though. Your rag doll is lovely. I bet your friend was pleased.
lavender yes I had a lazy day. Changed the sheets and got the washing on then spent the rest of the day painting and sewing. How about you?
annie hope you had a good day. I did reply. Hope you got it.
Sleep well all x

Joce345 Sat 16-May-20 20:24:33

My latest rag doll

lavenderzen Sat 16-May-20 20:00:41

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok.

Annie so glad you have managed to start your cross stitch again, it will give you a lot of pleasure x

Hope your foot is improving Joyce. The rag doll you made sounds lovely, you are very talented. I love knitting but find it quite difficult, but keep trying.

Doodle hope you have had a good day, and Nonnie and Nanny and everyone else too.

Have a peaceful evening everyone, take care, stay safe, good night and god bless xx

Joce345 Sat 16-May-20 13:33:05

Hello all, Annie cross stitch I find very therapeutic..

Nonnie brave black bird you have there.. my foot is sore today and swollen still bleeding a bit but not much, just have to see how it goes...
my friend Got me a gift she has got it few years ago for my BD
only sent it last week.. she thought it was a duckbill platypus, (I have always liked them) turns out to be a duck... we have not stopped laughing yet....
Hope everyone has a good weekend..

Nonnie Sat 16-May-20 11:23:41

Why good for you, an upward trend, the end is coming.

Doodle the other day I was in the garden and heard loud squawking, looked up and a blackbird was chasing and ranting at some sort of hawk. Never seen that before, it was fascinating.

Joce I'm thinking the pain of a stubbed toe is bad enough. Hope it is not too bad.

Your rag doll reminded me of the time I made a wooden spoon doll of a specific character for an adult. As a not great sewer I put my heart and soul into it, wrapped it carefully etc. The person who opened it thought it was some sort of voodoo doll! I had to explain that wooden spoon dolls were a 'thing' and that Hobbycraft sell kits. We laugh about it now.

annie it doesn't matter how much you achieve with your cross stitch, just the fact that you are achieving. I have a need to feel I have achieved something, however small, each day. Today it will be ironing and cleaning the oven.

Doodle Sat 16-May-20 11:17:53

Oh annie I am so pleased for you. It’s so nice to have a hobby that gives you pleasure. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you to thread needles and do this with your painful hands but the satisfaction of doing something you enjoy must be good.
I used to love cross-stitch too but stopped when I couldn’t see the holes well enough to poke the needle through. I was using quite a small hole linen at the time but I wonder if you find it difficult if you could get some with bigger holes that you could use bigger needles on.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Anniebach Sat 16-May-20 10:27:54

Hi all x

How is everyone ?

I have started cross stitching again, use to do much but stopped last April because of arthritis in hands , found five
unfinished works stored away !

Threading needles is so difficult and takes time to do one stitch, but most definitely sheer determination helps even with
gritted teeth and hunting for a dropped needle ,plus a few
swear words !

Doodle Fri 15-May-20 23:16:21

Ouch joce that sounds painful. Hope it doesn’t bother you too much tonight. I’m sure your friend will be very pleased with her rag doll. A homemade gift is always extra special.
lavender sounds as though you had a nice walk today and your dog seems to have enjoyed the extra freedom ?
annie hope you’re ok. Are you playing games or reading? I am off to bed soon. Will try and stay awake enough to finish a couple of chapters.
Sleep well all x

Joce345 Fri 15-May-20 22:33:49

Lavender thank you it’s is my own fault didn’t have the right shoes on, still sore .
Night all sleep well stay safe, God bless ?

lavenderzen Fri 15-May-20 20:48:12

lavenderzen Fri 15-May-20 20:45:13

Just to wish all a peaceful evening and a good night's sleep, free from worry and pain.
Please take care, and stay safe all. God bless xx

Joce345 Fri 15-May-20 20:16:52

Evening all, how’s everyone doing
Annie have you been washing bottles again...

Doodle I love making sewing, knitting, cross stitch,

Just made my friend a rag doll to cheer her up, she has been very poorly, much better now.
Een in the garden trying to help, dropped a heavy door on my foot only small but heavy, it hurts a lot ?

lavenderzen Fri 15-May-20 14:06:52

Hello everyone

Annie grin x

Just been out with my four legged friend, we went into the field opposite (the farmer rounded up the sheep this morning, I watched from my window, the three collies doing a wonderful job) and I used the long trainig lead on him, just in case he decided he may want to go on adventure without me!! He was bouncing around really enjoying himself.

Why glad to hear you feel more positive.
Lovely to hear about your grandchildren Nonnie, don't they tug at your heart strings.
Hope you are ok Joyce and Doodle and everyone else.

Take care, stay safe, love to all xx
