My podiatrist has advised me to swab my feet with surgical spirit.then let it dry and then put lamisil on the feet.
Finding it difficult to swab my feet all over with the surgical spirit.my back won't let me.
So here goes, if I were to put approx five litres in one of those foot baths with the whirly pool thingy in,what are your thoughts.
Five litres would cost approx ten pounds if I could buy it on draught.
I think surgical spirit would evaporate in a very short time.
So I was thinking of putting the surgical spirit back in a container and use it again the following day,or maybe covering the foot bath, which may prevent the surgial spirit evaporating.
Any thoughts or advise most wellcome.

Just a thought but if youre using the 'whirly pool' thing wont you be RE-INFECTING your feet every day if youre using this while you have athletes foot?maybe best to bin it and just shower your feet then if you must buy a new whirley foot spa once its all definitely cleared up?And definitely dont donate the old one to anyone else?

Tea tree oil by Thursdays plantation.
It`s brilliant and it works and not expensive.
Then you can use Witch hazel to keep it at bay.
