Doodle how are you?
How often is your son able to contact you and let you know how he’s doing. Is he aware how much you worry about him?
I will tell you a true story that started with 3 ladies I knew very well who all lost their jobs at the same time. Their company was “taken over”, reorganisation, the usual thing. It upset me to see how distressed they all were, as my job was ‘safe’.
One had just returned to work after her first baby, one was a lady recovering from breast cancer, and one had a daughter in the last 2 years of private educations and all were worried how they would manage.
5 years on, I am still friends with them all. Each has a new job, and each says she is happier in the new job than before.
So in our prayers we will ask that your son finds job opportunities - leaves no stone unturned; considers slightly different job roles to find a broader market for his skills, and if we could look into a crystal ball he may be more fulfilled in a future career, even though things look desolate now.
Try to worry for only a small window in your day and then try to desist. For your own peace of mind. ?
