Annie Oh no, I understand how busy they are, I just thought it was a strange way of doing things. If a GP read the form I completed and thought that I needed to speak to a doctor about it, I wondered why the GP that read it didn’t phone me.

Scaredycat Glad you got out for a walk, breezy to blow the cobwebs away. Hope you can keep the wobbles away.
Annie I’m sorry to hear that you’re no longer in contact with your sisters especially as you used to be close.

Evening all. Not done much today. When I’m feeling low I tend to be very tired so have had a lazy day.
Trying to sort out my feeling and praying for help and hoping it will come.I am not in a bad way just worried and a bit sad.

Scaredycat glad you had a nice walk. We enjoyed the sun this afternoon but it was quite windy. I’m glad you are able to talk to your sister. A help for you both.

Nonnie thank you for giving us hope of better times. Hope is all we have when things get tough. I am glad you have come through and hope you are having better times now.
Annie I wish you still had that bond with your sisters. I too would come and walk with you if I could. Now is not the time to be venturing outside as it’s wet and slippery underfoot. I hope that spring will bring some relief from this lockdown and you will get help with going out.

annie mine have since I started to get better but it is different in my case because I was prevented from doing it. Snow, wow!

I would love to go to the Holy Land too but probably never will now. DS went on a school trip when he was 12 and brought us back an olive wood carved image of Jesus. It is one of my most treasured possessions. I must start labelling the things I want to go to his children and write an explanation.

BlueSky don't take Vienna off your list, it is at least as safe as anywhere else. It is a very interesting city and I have happy memories.

Scardycat is the not being able to cry a new thing? I can now but for years I couldn't, my life was on a totally even keel where I couldn't feel anything, as if I was numb. If this is a new feeling I think you should talk to your GP and explain that to him/her. It is a really horrible feeling and you just want to bawl your eyes out but can't.

Doodle I was like that yesterday too, total apathy. Hope you feel better today.

Last night I had the best sleep for a long time. Sun is shining and we have filled 10 bin bags with leaves and that is only from the front garden. Bonus is that I had a lovely chat with our postman, another with a lovely neighbour and the DHL delivery man was very smiley. DSs have asked for my help with financial decisions so I even feel useful today. Oh and yesterday the car passed its MOT. Good things all come at once as well as bad, today the bad is on the back burner.

Afternoon all x The sun is shining even if cold, so that’s the first positive, received the on line shopping, that’s the second positive, what a little luxury, remember shopping by bus with trolley and toddlers, how on earth did we manage that, maybe we were 50 years younger?!
Annie and Doodle your faith must be a comfort/help which I haven’t got.
Nonnie thanks for your advice re Vienna, the more these things happen the less I want to go anywhere, but I realise it’s stupid, I need a shake up occasionally luckily DH is just my opposite, he encourages me while I (try to) curb his enthusiasm!

Nonnie I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better. Good news that you slept better last night, it makes such a difference to our mood doesn’t it. We were going to clear our leaves yesterday but didn’t get round to it. I’m sure you’re very helpful to your DSs. It is a good feeling to have.
BlueSky Our weather is the same, first frost this morning. I don’t mind the cold, hate the rain. Definitely because we were 50 years younger. I find it hard to believe that all that time has gone. My Nan always said that time goes quicker the older you get and she was right.

Annie - Ooh snow . It must look very beautiful but seems early. Hope it isn’t a taste of things to come. Just seen about your charger - hope it’s just a blip.
Nonnie - Glad you had a better sleep and hope it’s done you good. What a good day you have had so far with nice friendly people. Those little chats leave you with such a nice feeling afterwards don,t they.
The inability to cry has been with me for many years now. As you say it is an awful feeling to not be able to release the sadness when you need to. My sister on the other hand can cry easily - thank goodness as She has had a lot to cry about in
her life - as have I.
Positives today though - sun is shining so walking was lovely. Also enjoyed my life class this morning via What’s App.
Bluesky- yes online shopping is so helpful at the moment. I do remember those times of shopping with the children on the bus with the pushchair and all the bags. I had 3 children under 4 so it was never uneventful!!! Happy Days though.
Keep the Vienna dream alive it will be wonderful

I am new here,Annie is not the only one with the Black Dog, I. am struggling horribly at the moment. I understand the rules but find it hard trying to be cheerful. Trying to find Annies advice on accepting, l. know the rules are necessary but don't found it easy.

Chrissy how are you. Did you mention acupuncture, I think someone did. I had a course some years ago, I was working at the time and kept having to have time off, it did help me.
Nonnie I'm glad you had a good nights sleep. It makes all the difference in the world. I took delivery of a new mattress last week and it has made such a difference to my sleep. I still wake up early and the worries start again, but at least I am comfortable in bed.
Doodle I do hope your worries are lifting even if only a little. Take care.
Scaredycat hope you are doing ok. Glad you had sunshine today. Bluesky glad your shopping arrived. I eventually managed to get a slot next Friday! I remember the little ones, bags and pushchairs, happy times.

No quite sure what you mean about the rules, are you talking about being in lockdown again?
Nonnie glad you had a good night last night. A full nights sleep is precious. Sounds as though you have had lots of nice chats and an energetic workout in the garden ?
Bluesky faith is a help but it doesn’t make the problems go away. It’s not that having faith means you don’t worry or have troubles. It’s just when they occur we turn to God and ask for help to cope.
chrissy how are you today? You sound brighter.
Annie oh no. What are you going to do. Can you order one online? How is it broken?
Scaredycar glad you enjoyed your life class. What were you painting\drawing today? I remember the days of shopping with young children too. We didn’t have the light easily manoeuvreable buggy’s they have these days or a car. I can well remember struggling up the hill with a laden pram towing a toddler.
lavender hope you are ok. I’m plodding on, as we do. Still wobbling but hoping things will be ok.

Annie Sorry to hear your charger isn’t working. I hope you can get a new one quickly.
Scaredycat it must be horrible to not be able to cry, it does seem to help by releasing pent up emotions. I can cry but not in front of anyone, I have to hide away somewhere. Sounds like you had a good day with your walk and the life class.
Primrose it’s safe for you to talk here if you feel up to it.
lavenderzen yes I’m having acupuncture in my quest to find something to relieve my anxiety. I’ve had 2 sessions so far and I think it might be helping but too soon to be sure. I’m supposed to be going tomorrow but I suppose it might be cancelled. The only problem is that I think the swelling in my feet might have started when I had my first appointment so I’m hoping it isn’t connected as it could mean that I have to stop it.
Doodle I think that the acupuncture might be helping with my anxiety so I’m quietly confident about it, fingers crossed.

Have ordered new charger lead, can’t buy local, we have been in lockdown for two weeks.
Have managed to charge ipad a bit by holding the broken end,
had to say Hi to everyone.

Your all in lockdown from today , we come out on Monday.

I have agoraphobia so yes get down at times but don’t have

Had some very weird dreams last night including walking down the road doing my knitting as if that was perfectly normal .

Determined to go out today while the sun shines, talked DH into a walk round the lake.

Had a wonderful newsy video call with DS this morning, he is such a good Dad and so involved in this children. He is so proud that one has been promoted to the top class at swimming just before the pool has to shut down and also about how excited the little one is about his brother's success. They are both quite young. The swimmer has bought the things to help make a birthday cake for Mummy and has drawn a plan of how he intends to decorate it. He helped me last Christmas to decorate my chocolate roulade. Sorry for the proud Grandma post but they make me happy.

Evening all x Opticians today, that’s a quick two years, need stronger lenses, I’m short sighted, but then I don’t need reading glasses! Otherwise eyes healthy, no mention of a cataract another optician mentioned years ago.
Nonnie our DGC bring us such joy don’t they? Hope you enjoyed your walk, they keep us sane.

Doodle - hope you are ok today. Yesterday’s Life Class we had 2 views of the same male model from front and back to draw together and then a young lady. These are sent via What’s App and we send our finished work back. We “chat” as we go along and it is lovely to keep our Class going.
Annie- Well done on making your iPad work ! Glad you can get another charger. Looking forward to hearing from you soonxx
Nonnie- I looked up what knitting in a dream meant. It said - it’s a symbol of novelty,new spirit and new opportunities ahead. It’s amazing what happens in your mind when you sleep isn,t it.
Hope you had a sunny walk round the lake-what a lovely place to have nearby.
So nice to hear about your grandchildren - they are what life is all about. I love mine so much , they range from 34 yrs old to 10.
