Farmologie pink grapefruit moisturiser

A well known young actor ( can't remember her name) said this cleared her legs so I thought it was worth a try. It's the best thing I have used ever and I've tried many things over 60 years!. Of course nothing works for everyone but it's not expensive at all.
There is also a pleasant body wash. Its good to have something that smells nice too.

Me too Nanna58. That's why I wanted to share the post. Fingers crossed it continues.

I haven't heard of Hydromol Lemsip. will save the name for future reference.

What really annoyed me was that I used Carbodome and suddenly it was no longer available when I asked for a repeat prescription. My doctor didn't even ask to see me to discuss what else I could use. I've spent a lot of money trying to find something myself.
But I do feel sorry for those like Shandy 57 who can't find something that works.

Interested to know what you use in the shower/bath Shandy57 and what moisturiser you use?

I have a very itchy scalp which I think is psoriasis. The GP gives me Dovonex for when it is really bad and I also have a scalp lotion for more frequent use but nothing helps that much. I think it is exacerbated by stress and I often wake in the night with a furiously itchy head. Does anyone else get this and what do you do about it, please?

I haven't had this problem for many years, NotTooOld .
I used coal tar shampoo then. Perhaps try Tgel, although you have possibly tried this. Leave it on a few minutes before rinsing.
If it's stress related, can you do something about the stress.
And limit you use on your hair.
Sorry, not much help maybe someone else will have experience.

NotTooOld I saw a specialist many moons ago, and he said I could take two cetirizine hydrochloride per day for the itching. It did work, I just forgot about it until you asked!

Nadaterturbe sorry I pressed something and it went off - I use E45 shower cream, very messy. Wish I could use perfumed stuff.

Facially I'm alright and use any cruelty free stuff that's about, Body Shop, No 7, I've never had a favourite.

T-gel shampoo for itchy scalp

Shandy I too miss perfumed stuff but I find the Boots no 7 bath milk gives me a lovely bubble bath. And farmologie smells nice but it might not suit you.
I do find Sainsburys pure soap very good.
I've just noticed you've remembered something that helped. Maybe you can try it again.

I started taking Good Health Sharkilage for my arthritis and was astonished that my psoriasis also cleared - not totally but a LOT.

nadateturbe Sat 27-Mar-21 10:31:09

I must pass that on to my husband Kaimoana he has arthritis.

I was in hospital on holiday once for 3 days on an antibiotic drip and special diet. My psoriasis almost cleared.

lemsip Sat 27-Mar-21 10:51:33

occasionally any skin complaint can become infected so that
is why the antibiotic drip made your skin improve also.

nadateturbe Sun 28-Mar-21 10:18:26

Maybe when people get a flare-up doctors should try an antibiotic.

Sorry I meant to quote Lemsip before that comment!
