Shoes and boots for ankles that swell when walking.....

Got the same problems ref swollen ankles. I use Kunert kneehighs flight pop socks everyday can be bought on Amazon. Attacking the weight issue Bella has a free to join offer for slimming world this week.
I think I will join. Accountability is what I need. Also, obesity is counted as a co morbidity in our newly rationed nhs.

I bought a pair of hotters they were amazing to wear every day and accommodated my wife feet could walk for miles in them

I have swollen ankles . Finally found a brilliant pair of walking boots and do my exercise class in them. They are from Hotter Ridge GTX boots extra wide £109. If you sign up for their email you get a 10% code off. They open really wide and are well padded round the top. Thick soled and are so comfortable.

I finally found a pair of ankle wellies for gardening by Jileon think they were £25 .

I also have a pair of winter ankle boots by Hotter which are very comfortable . They are called Daydream. Also all my shoes are from Hotter as they have velcro fastening.

I wouldn’t bother with boots at all for keeping swollen ankles down. I have the same problem of swelling ankles and have found that flight socks work the best. I buy mine from Amazon and there’s plenty of sorts to choose from. I wear mine every day and they really work. You can machine wash them and tumble dry them. They come in either a plain black or jazzy colours and patterns.

These might be too expensive for you, but I have found them very comfortable and well worth the money as they last for years. I have thick ankles, am overweight, and have RA. They used to be advertised as the lightest leather boot on the market and no need to break them in as they are padded with memory foam. They are much easier to care for than fabric boots, just scrub mud off in a bucket of water.
I hope you find what you are looking for. I tried for size in Go Outdoors then found cheaper on line.
