If you fart when in company …

If you happen to audibly fart when with company, do you excuse yourself or just act as if nothing has happened? I really don’t know which is best. I more often ignore it if it’s me, and definitely ignore it if it’s someone else but what is deemed the correct etiquette? Even the Queen must do it sometimes.

If I'm in company I just excuse myself for " speaking out of turn ". smile

I'm always afraid I might let rip in my yoga class. One lady does regularly, and I try not to catch anyone's eye as I would giggle.

My husband would automatically pipe up and say' Pardon me' !!
