Slippers what type after a hip operation

I am recuperating From my second hip operation in four months. Last time I had carers calling every day to deal with my anti embolism stockings I had to wear for six weeks. This time I don’t need them but have an issue with my feet being absolutely freezing most of the time
I have socks, bed socks, lounge socks with anti-slip tread on, But cannot get any on myself because I’m Not allowed to lift the operated leg more than a few inches.
I realise this will only be short-term but in the moment has anyone got any suggestions, My daughter says to look for some sheepskin type slippers that I can push my feet into ,to keep my feet warm but I can’t seem to find any that won’t have me slipping downstairs
Any ideas anyone please?

I wore Skechers slippers after both my hip operations. They were easy enough to put on using a long handled shoe horn.
