Katey glad you are recovering well. When my mom had her second mastectomy she decided not to bother with a bra and false boobies as she called them . She took her flat chest as a badge of honour she was she alive . She wore loose tops even for weddings. She lived until she was 90. ?

It’s good to hear that you are on the road to recovery. My dear friend is facing a mastectomy next Tuesday having had a lumpectomy four years ago. It’s good that your DH is supporting you so well, well done to him.

Some of you may remember my plea for a hand hold after my second cancer diagnosis, cancelled surgery and anxiety which was through the roof and worse whilst awaiting a new date. I am now 3 weeks on from another mastectomy, so now flatter than a pancake, few hiccups with recovery (drains failing, very sick and wound closed with 33 staples rather than the stitches I had last time). But I am recovering nicely, think I am healing well (dressings came off on Wednesday). I am very uncomfortable possibly with nerve pain so taking pain relief as and when. Hubby has been a nurse, hairdresser, cook, cleaner etc etc so deserves a medal!!
My results where brilliant, all cancer contained, no spread to lymph nodes, no radio or chemo required. I just remain on my current regime from my first diagnosis.
So onwards and upwards now.
Thankyou to all of you who held my hand virtually and private messaged me with encouragement and kind words. I am really grateful. Katey ?
