If anyone is still interested in this, I signed up today. There is a special offer, and if you express an interest then wait a day or two you get a better deal again. My plan is to cancel before the renewal date, but I'll see how it goes. I had a good poke around, and they will offer a cheaper deal if you say you are going to cancel because it is too expensive, so if it's any good I might do that when my time is up.
I did the first 'workout' tonight, and most of it was stretching the arms and rotating the wrists - things like that. The exercises towards the end of the session were a bit more onerous - the hip rotating one was quite difficult to get right, but not strenuous.
It is unlikely that I will stick to the diet, as it would mean a whole new way of cooking and a new shopping list. The screening questions they asked had me down as a Mediterranean diet (mostly veg with a little meat) but the meals are not the sort of thing we eat. It is very fish heavy, and I don't eat seafood (apart from a very occasional fish and chips at the seaside!). I'll scoot through the recipes tomorrow, and pick out ones that both of us will eat, given that Mr Dog is vegetarian.
Other than the diet and exercises, there are 'challenges', which seem to be more advanced yoga, and details of intermittent fasting, although nothing much I didn't know already. 'Don't eat for 16 hours and eat sensibly during the other 8' can only be said so many ways, can't it?
Anyway, I plan to do the exercises every morning. Apparently they increase in difficulty. As I burned off 47 calories doing today's, which I think that's about one Malteser's worth, I hope so
.
If anyone's interested I can keep you updated, otherwise it's ok - I won't bore you all with my ungainly progress.
