Any recommendations for Factor 50 sun screen?

I used Nivea dark spot F50 sunscreen last year and found it to be great as I’m sure I didn’t get dark marks. Previously I’d used Olay F50 tinted sunscreen, also very good. The worst by far was Clarins which cost lots more but left a white film all over my face almost impossible to rub away.

I have been using Sunsense tinted sunscreen factor 50. This was recommended by Dermatologist many years ago to prevent sun damage on my skin. It is light and looks like a foundation on my skin. Not the cheapest but lasts for a while.

At the end of the day try using a mild facial scrub like Liz Earle to remove the gloop .

Then , your skin gets a chance to breath overnight .

Another fan of La Roche-Posay here. I use the Anthelios 50+ invisible spray. I don't spray it onto my face but squirt some onto my hand and apply with fingers. It is the only sun protection I have found that doesn't sting my eyes when sweat on my forehead runs down. Lots available on Ebay.

I read somewhere that factor 50 doesn’t work any better than 30. Might be worth looking into it especially as 50 is so much gloopier.

I use Boots Soltan Once Face:
Factor 50, 5* UVA, 8 hour protection.
I use the body version as well and find both really good.

Another recommendation for Ultrasun. It isn’t heavy and works.

Ultra Sun- I use the tinted version which doubles as foundation, but Sis-in-law and my late DH , both with incredibly sensitive skin, eczema and highly photosensitive coped well with the clear version.

I use Piz Buin factor 50 spray sunscreen, the allergy one. I feel the same as you about foundation, etc on the skin, but find this one absolutely fine and it doesn't irritate my eyes like some do. It's not the cheapest, but I try and buy it when on offer. I have to use it all year round as had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my nose last year.

I have used Nivea UV face SP50 and have found it light and easy to apply
