nadateturbe Thank you for you kind words. I don't mean to come across as bragging when I post things about my life, my day-to-day things (and I'm sorry if anyone feels I'm doing so). I suppose I'm just so glad to have made such a marvellous recovery from my stroke (5 clots in 3 areas of my brain) 18 months ago. I'm about 90% back to what I was, which I'm thankful for. Thanks for the info about M.E etc. My son is 41, manages the Fibro without any prescription painkillers, at the moment.
Wyllow3 I hope you can get a lift to your appointment. Things aren't quite as scary if someone is there. If I lived near, I'd help you any time.
Whiff Gosh, you've had (and still have) such a lot to cope with. It's true that some people and/or organisations are quick to dismiss things they don't understand. I hope you have some luck in getting financial help, re PIP etc. You make perfect sense.
SweetpeaSue The very best of luck for your husband. MRIs are very loud and can be a bit scary at first, but they're the best way of finding out things wrong with the brain (I've had 4) Hope all goes well.
Well, it's been a good day. I went to work (it's good to feel I can be useful to someone). Hope everyone's day has been alright x
