Apologies if this has been done before and I hope I am on the correct Board for this question.
I am a slim 67 year old and have always tried to look after myself i.e. gone to the gym, beauty treatments, good diet (most of the time
) etc etc. I don't particularly want to lose weight but I do have what I now know as "menopausal belly". I have done some reading on this and it appears that this could just be down to a hormone imbalance / deficiency and, as I know from experience, no amount of exercising, sit-ups etc will get rid of this. I am on HRT and have been for many years (and have no intention of giving it up
), but I am seriously thinking of having my hormones tested. I can do this online (it costs around £100) which I don't mind but I was wondering if anyone else has done this and what their thoughts are on it. I am not ill in any way so don't want to bother the doctors with this - even if they would see me for this - but I am really curious as to the outcome of doing this.
On a side note, my husband (72) is struggling to lose weight. Again, not majorly overweight (and has always struggled with this) so wonder if something like this would help him?
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly received.
Thanks in Advance
