Last Sunday evening I started to get pain like intergeston and a really bad feeling of pressure round the top half of my body I could feel my body swelling up, had a sleep bra on even that got tight. Called 111 paramedic came to see me, no heart problems, we had a natter and one suggestion was air pressure change due to thunder storms. I used to get migraines when younger . Spent Monday and Tuesday using cold pack on chest and shoulders. Having face to face appointment with GP this week.
Have tried to find information on line can't make sense of it . Anyone
had this or knows were I can get information I can take with me.

I was excessively reactive to changes in air pressure when I had costochondritis, graygirl. I still feel changes of pressure when I drive up an hill and down again. The worst time was when I was driving down the A34 between Oxford and Romsey. I felt positively ill – nauseous – at times. fortunately MrB was able to take over the driving so I could feel ill in peace. That road is not massively hilly!

Anyway, when the 2004 tsunami happened and I heard about animals who felt it coming and went to higher ground before the wave hit, I understood the feeling.

I still have mild costochondritis but am not as reactive to air pressure changes, thankfully.
