I’m really worried about how thin my hair has become. I’m 67. Any advice please?

see GP and get thyroid checked. If you can get an appointment of course.

1) A dermatologist would be a wise suggestion.
2) Also take BIOTIN, which is used for hair loss and to harden nails. Can be found in Apothecaries / Chemists or Health Food Shops.
3) Increase your Vitamin "B"´s and "C" as well.
4) Change hair shampoo and conditioner to an Ecological Organic line of products. Speak to your hair dresser.
5) Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits and fish ..

Best wishes.

Ask your GP for a blood test to check your vitamin D. My hair has thickened since I have been treated for vitamin D deficiency.
I also saw a dermatologist because of hair loss. He prescribed antibiotics and steroid lotion. This combination halted the hair loss.

I saw my GP and am waiting for an appointment to investigate my low thyroid level in the meantime I started to take Vit D and am noticing I’m definitely not losing so much hair now maybe worth a try.
