Right now I would like something totally delicious that I haven’t cooked!

Today I have eaten exactly what I liked, partly because I've had what I think was a bit of a cold (mostly ear and throat ache; it's pretty much over now I think), but also because I usually do anyway, just with a bit more greenery than today. Today I ate:

About half a dozen Deglet Noor dates, 1 white chocolate digestive biscuit, 3 small mugs of weak tea with full cream milk

half an apple (chopped), 3 strawberries (also chopped), couple of heaped tablespoons of Greek style full fat yogurt, slab of home-made chocolate cake (containing, among other things, Guiness and buttermilk) with a full fat cream cheese icing; another mug of tea

3 pieces of Proper Turkish Delight and more tea

home-made latte made with full fat milk, 2 Fox’s chocolate ring biscuits

1 beef and chorizo sausage, 2 slices bacon, one egg (fried), half a small can of baked beans, water to drink.

Between times I put some tables together at work and did some serious gardening, what I call rhododendron bashing.

Gosh, I couldn’t eat that much if I tried! I’d have jam or marmalade on my usual plain buttered toast in the morning, either soup with some buttered crusty bread or cheese and biscuits for lunch and a pasta dish, shepherd’s pie or bangers and mash with onion gravy and fried onions for dinner, and some wine. No dessert. No snacks . I have my limitations!

My breakfast would be what I have now which is shredded wheat with fresh berries. It all goes downhill after that though it would be a doughnut for elevenses. Lunch would be crusty bread roll with salad, a packet of crisps, with cake to finish.
Dinner would be either a beef madras curry with all the extras or a roast with Yorkshire puddings. Rhubarb crumble for afters.
Evening would be chocolate, more crisps and probably indigestion.

We all know we should eat more veg, less meat, no processed food, less dairy, cut out alcohol... but it's no fun is it?
What would you REALLY like to eat if all foods were equally healthy.
My breakfast would be: white toast with oodles of butter and strawberry jam. Cup of tea.
Mid-morning: coffee and a cheese scone or shortbread. Perhaps a glass of sherry.
Lunch: Salad with lots of mayonnaise, thickly sliced ham and a French stick.
Afternoon: Scones with clotted cream and golden syrup plus a slice of Victoria sponge.
Evening meal: A nice roast with loads of potatoes, veg and Yorkshires. Pudding would be cheesecake with yet more cream.
Evening snack: Pringles or cheesy cheddars with chunks of cheese washed down with a good wine or port. Bar of chocolate.
Lovely jubbly.
If only .........
