I'm in my 60's and have a lot of weight to loose.
Not sure whether to try a slimming club again and if so which one, or whether there are other options. Have other grans done this and what work for them.
Hope I've posted this right.

Try to base your diet on wholefoods. Keep away from ultra processed foods ( look at the ingredients and if there are things you don't recognise in the food don't buy it )
Fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds etc are great for weight loss.
Good luck

HettyBetty is right. Eat less. Move more. It is the only way. Much of today's food is calorie-laden. Back in the day, all food was cooked from scratch, alcohol was only available in pubs and most work was physically demanding. Hardly any overweight people back then. As a child, our cupboard had no snacks in it. In fact, I don't think we had ever heard the word snack. If we were hungry between meals all there was on offer was an apple or perhaps bread and butter.

We all know about not sitting for too long and to move more. But after having a daily walk, doing housework, gardening or shopping how do you incorporate more moving into your life, what do you do?? Genuine question.🤔

Only eat if you're hungry and regular times and not out of boredom, comfort etc.

Also don't have junk food, biscuits etc at home and then the temptation isn't there. If you do want a treat, walk to the shop to get them.

My advice is always avoid sugar as I inadvertently lost 2 stones when cutting it out. I refused anything with it and read every label from tom ketchup to sliced bread (don’t use ketchup but….) and anything that had more than 10g per 100 g of sugar as carbohydrates I didn’t touch. It was amazing how the weight dropped.
