Does anyone have experience of Palliative care at home and what’s involved?
We are looking to bring DH home from hospital.

You don’t know how much your messages have meant to me. Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I haven’t really come to terms with it yet. The last few weeks have taken their toll and I am exhausted. Fortunately, our sons are taking good care of me. Thank you all so much xx

Thanks Baggs . I want my DH home too.
Georgesgran it’s called Palliative care here. Might not be end of life but could be

End of Life can go on for a long time, sometimes longer than the last weeks of life. Palliative care likewise, when most medicines are usually stopped but the patient is kept tpainfree with painkillers, morphine or at the very end a DRIVER. I have sadly now been through this 3 times end every time was totally different. . The last time quite recently, my partner had visits from Hospiscare 3 times a day, a sitter offered for the night he died, so I could get some much needed rest and all medication stopped apart from the driver for pain relief. It is lovely to have them home with you and such a privilege to see them through to the very end if you possibly can. I wish you strength to get through this difficult time.
