I’m too much of a coward to have a mammogram because I get in such a state waiting for test results so well done you for not being silly like me. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. We’re all here for you x

Thank you. I’ll be back to post my results tomorrow xx

MayBee70 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer. I cannot believe you will not have a mammogram.

I do have them. But missed my last one because the pandemic started. I will get one done. But this isn’t about me it’s about Buttonjugs.

All the very best for tomorrow, Buttonjugs. Please let us know how you get on, but we'll be thinking of you.

I had a scare, but it didn't turn out to be cancer - I think most tests are negative. flowers

I am sure a few of you have been where I am now. Last Wednesday I had a recall appointment after a mammogram and had an ultrasound and cone biopsy. Tomorrow I am literally going to find out if I have breast cancer or not and I am surprised by how numb I feel. I thought I would be feeling really nervous but I don’t I just feel flat. Two years ago I had a mole that turned out to be a melanoma. I suppose I am convinced that I will get a positive result and am resigned to it. The lump is very small I can’t even feel it. So I am probably just thinking they’ll tell me I need a lumpectomy and that it’ll be dealt with. I don’t know, has anyone else been through the same and how did you feel?
