Anti Histamines make me tired

Hi all

I take a daily anti histamine - that is not meant to be drowsy - because I find the roof of my mouth and my ears continually itch and the only way to control it is to take the tablets. I do feel tired all the time, however this may be because I am rapidly approaching 66, and obese.

Any ides on both fronts to get my energy back and to get rid of these tablets would be welcome. Thank you.

I use antihistamine as a sleeping pill when desperate to get to sleep

Cetirizine wipes me out completely and I’m practically asleep standing up, but Fexofenadine works well.
