CT Scan - Bowel
I was given a clearing medicine called 'Gastrogafin,' It made me really very sick and it did not clear my bowel at all.
My appointment was cancelled and a new appointment was arranged.
I was then given Movicol which did the trick and arrived for the scan. They were going to inject me with a contrast agent to aid clearer scan.
However I discovered that the contrast agent / dye was in common with gastrogafin properties.
So I declined at the last minute not to have this agent injected as was really worried about the potential effect.
Has anyone else had experience of this ??
Are we repeating the "great depression" of the 1920's?
