Àlendronic acid

Anyone taking alendronic acid tablets? Any comments please. I did start a thread a few months back about osteoporosis and cannot find it.
I am waiting for a sigmoidoscopy for some gut problems and then possibly will start Alendronic acid when that is done and dusted.
DEXA scan shows osteoporosis -2.6.

I will be starting the infusion of Alendronic Acid in a week as I have stomach etc issues and cannot take the tablets.
My VitD level is 90 now.
I am on 5mg Prednisolone reducing monthly after PMR. I have had osteoporosis for a couple of years and only now having treatment as Vit.D not high enough. I am not looking forward to this at all. Any advice please?

The infusions are nothing Jojo they are just a case of sitting there for half and hour or less they really are a doddle

I m just worried that they might have done me harm

helterskelter after having a cancer that hardly anyone had ever heard of I m not knocking anything off the list 🤣🤣🤣
Fingers crossed, I don’t have any other underlying health problems so hopefully I ll survive and the dentist was just being cautious
