It isn't my conditioner- I use very little and on the ends, not my scalp.
I don't know how you would apply cream on your scalp and also hope it isn't an infestation- unless it has come from my coat! I shall get out a magnifying glass!
Not the heating, it's been on since October. Could be a dry scalp just because I'm getting old I suppose.
My diet has changed though, so that could be a factor and I need to get back on track with this after Christmas.
I have hardly been out and always wear a faux fur hood- could it be that? It's a fairly new coat so that's a possibility as it is also affecting the back of my neck.
Maybe it is my coat? I love it though, it is so warm! I hope it isn't my coat- but it could be.
I don't have any suggestions but are you rinsing your conditioner out thoroughly? My scalp drives me nuts of I get conditioner on my skin - so I always tip my head forward after shampooing and only put conditioner on the hair strands.
I'd say there must have been something different in your diet, toiletries or laundry products -- or you've maybe been in contact with something that you haven't before (woodsmoke, for example, or even something in the snow/rain if you've got your hair wet outside). Wait and see seems like a good idea, as does seeing a pharmacist.
Sorry this isn't a pleasant topic but in the past week I have developed a very itchy scalp and it is driving me mad!
My shampoo and hair products haven't changed and it isn't an infestation.
I have read that it coud be the cold weather? Has anyone else heard this? My house is warm enough and I haven't been out much anyway.
I really have no idea what it could be or how to relieve it.
Any ideas anyone? As the weather is warming up I wonder if I should wait a few days and see if it goes away, or see a pharmacist. I don't really want to be bothering the doctor unless it doesn't go away on its own.
Anyone else had this and what worked to relieve it?
