Hi all. Firstly thank you to those of you who replied to my previous post, it was greatly appreciated.
I had another scan and they found a small angiomyolipoma, which the radiographer said they won’t do anything with and just an incidental finding.
Bladder and kidneys are fine.
So… still got microscopic blood in my urine. No infection at present.
Gynae said I have a tiny bit of bleeding from atrophy, which is feeling more comfortable after starting oestrogen pessaries.
So,wondering what they will do next.
Have any of you had this situation ?
I think the blood appears more as I am on blood thinners.

Sikipoo -sorry I did not see your previous post. I was having some problems with my stomach.
It’s good that your bladder and kidneys are fine.
I don’t anything about the condition you mention. I’m sure someone with good knowledge will give you some answers.
Good luck …

Has no one knowledgable or with similar experience seen this thread ?
Sikipoo - glad you are being looked after. I am going through a few issues as well. Bloody poo 😫 so I have to send away a sample to find the cause. Hopefully nothing sinister….DG

I was diagnosed with an angiomyolipoma in 2008. Told they would regularly monitor for growth as when they reach 4cms they need treatment as they can spontaneously haemorrhage. In 2016 I was diagnosed with a second one and monitored. In January 2020 hospital discharged me - I think possibly due to Covid pandemic. Nobody saw me after that but had bad ankle swelling so I asked GP if I could have an ultrasound on the AML's. Another 3 had grown since 2020, not picked up as I wasn't being monitored. Had a CT scan November 2024 when actul size of the largest and original one was 3.7 cms. Another CT scan due in June as they are keeping a close eye on it now. They tend to leave the small ones alone. The other 4 I have are still small. My kidneys are ok with GFR of 76 which I believe is good for my age, also 76.
