Several years ago I knew someone who's husband was terribly ill and his recovery seemed very doubtful. I contacted an American group I belonged to on Facebook (I knew a lot of them were very religious) and I asked them to pray for him. I can only say that he did recover and went on to live a very happy life. I never dismiss the power of prayer. We are all here for you Grandmafrench

I have lit the candle and will be thinking of the Gransnetter and her husband.
