I am thinking of getting 4 in 1 implants. I have been quoted an eye watering cost of £26000. Does anybody have these and what do they think to them. Would love some advice from somebody who has had these fitted

I had two implants and wish I hadn't. They were always getting infected and eventually fell out after 10 years. I couldn't possibly afford to have them now. I would rather continue with my gaps and very uncomfortable denture. You must be very rich!

Seems pricey. Had one 20 years ago £1,000. Still going strong. Few others over the years. Last one few years ago, £2,500. Private dentist with good reputation. Perhaps get a second opinion?

I went to see a specialist about having an implant but he muttered a couple of times to his nurse that the nerves in my gum were very close to the surface. He didn't mention this to me and as I'm a very nervous patient and can hardly string two words together once in the chair I phoned afterwards and said I wouldn't be going through with the procedure. I was worried about ending up with nerve damage and having a lop sided face.

Due to a medical condition I have over the years had all my teeth removed and implants put in. First I had the top ones done, I had 4 posts put in and also bone and I didn’t have enough bone. Then I had a plate and this fire Ed onto the posts. It took about a year to do and that was 10 years ago and nothing has gone wrong. The plate has very little to it and I don’t really notice it, I can eat anything without them moving, even an apple. Last year I had my bottom one done the same, and it looks wonderful. In fact quite a few people have complimented me on them. My husband also had 4 implants done over the years as well. The cost in total for all them was an eye watering £32,000, which was more than the car we bought. We were lucky that we had been left some money and decided to use some of it on our teeth. For me it was cost effective when you look at the cost of bridges, caps etc that always need replacing. I haven’t had to pay a dentist sknce

I have a full mouth of implants done by a lovely dentist in Barry. I initially had the top denture done with six implants
and this year I had a porcelain bridge with six implants.
The cost altogether was 9 and a half thousand for the bottom
porcelain bridge with no plate at all. The top cost me three thousand pre covid. All in all it cost 12 and a half thousand pounds. I have no regrets as I can eat and drink with no problems and because of the implants I now feel a connection as if they were my own teeth.

I have 4 implants on my top teeth and have never regretted it. No problems - all done in one day, with temporary ones fitted (on a plate) and 2 months later, the "proper" implant inserted. I think in total it cost around £8,000 (I did 2 and then 2). However I do have dental insurance (have had for years) and got around 75% of that cost back.

Hi
Two years ago I had 5 in one on the top and one crown and the rest fixed crowns in a row on the bottom.
It meant having all my top teeth out and replaced with implants. I had it done in Tenerife by a dental surgeon and cost £20,000.
Providing I have my teeth cleaned to his standard yearly they are insured for life.
I have never regretted it for one second and have had no problems. mr T had his top teeth done as well and he is very happy.
The alternative for me was to have all top teeth out , and three months later have a denture. No brainer.
Hope this helps, my mouth was exrayed and the results projected on to a large screen, the dentist didn’t have to say anything, no sales pitch necessary I could see for myself where problems were.
Hope this helps.

I had this done in Slovakia in 2012. I had to make three visits and they were excellent. With the implants, bone grafts and travelling it cost about £12,000. The care was excellent. My son had the same but without bone grafts, in Birmingham last September. Cost £13,800. Excellent treatment and lovely teeth. Have it done but shop around and look at the reviews. Be prepared to have more than four implants for stability.

I have an nhs dentist who won't even fill my tooth. They just let them rot in your head, eventhough the half of it that's left, has been stable for 9 months and not deteriorated any further after a filling dropped out. It's disgusting.

My neighbour had hers done. £4000, all in. Perhaps shop around.

Sarahr that is extraordinarily cheap for basically a whole mouth...!!!
