I am trying to source a pair for my sister who has arthritis in her hands. I know there are many online but she specifically wants them so she can grip a screwdriver. The ones online only mention easing pain etc. Anyone know of any suitable?

I had my latest bamboo pair from Amazon and they are fantastic, I can hold a knife and scissors and I even opened a carton of milk, things I couldn’t do before with the ones I was using. They cost a bit more but well worth it in my opinion. I’m sure using a screwdriver would be a doddle.

Make sure she uses a cushioned screwdriver. I set off Dupuytrans in my hand by using a small metal screwdriver years ago.

My sister, who was a musician and teacher, has Dupuytren's contraction in both hands. She is very thin and always cold.
I have knitted her two pairs of fingerless gloves to a special shaped and fitted pattern in a silk/cashmere yarn on 4 size 12 needles. She says they're better than anything!

It’s so unfair that so many musicians seem to get Dupuytrans. I tend to wear cycling gloves a lot to cushion my hands.
