Rene75 have you tried a new battery? It sounds as if it could be that.

Dip a cotton bud in a little olive oil and run it gently around the bit of your ear where the receiver goes.

You can also buy some numbing stuff from the chemist. It might be called Earclear or something like that. Bonjela for your ears 😬

No idea about the phantom tune unless you’re connected to your phone?

I have had my hearing aids for 2 weeks and also find they are a bit itchy in this hot weather
But I am a bit puzzled as mine has twice played a proper tune. Once in the garden and once looking out the front window. It’s definitely a tune quite a few notes long. It’s not the notes low battery sound it’s longer than that and quite cheerful ! Any idea what it’s is please. ? I wondered if I’m picking up a neighbour’s doorbell. I haven’t got T position on Thankyou.

Hello, I have a hearing aid, which I am struggling to use. The issue is that my ears become intensely itchy. Does anyone have any tips or hints that might alleviate this , please?
