Yesterday I drove to a nearby village, did what I needed doing then wanted to go to another nearby village but for the life of me I could not remember the name of it or which way to go , to the point of feeling panic, I thought go home until I got to a junction I saw the sign for the village and recognised the name. These are places I visit often.

I still work part time in a job where lots of different tasks are involved, I keep on top of that but sometimes forget if I've told somebody something or not.

I struggle to bring forth a word at times and to remember pass codes and I have forgotten full conversations.

Do you think it is just I am busy with a lot in my mind? or just natural with ageing or worse?

I hope it was a one off Foxtail.
I’m finding, if stressed, that I can forget the name of someone I know well right in front of me. The harder I try, the worse it is, particularly if I’m about to introduce someone to a friend.

The same thing happens to me - I think it's like a form of stagefright. I hated it when I had to introduce a new member of staff to our team. The names of colleagues I'd worked for years with, would just suddenly escape me!

For the last two years I have been having regular medical reviews and tests at a hospital about halfway between where I live and the nearest town. It’s an easy route- I head for the town I mentioned, then at the traffic lights about halfway into the journey, I have to turn left. Simple, and I can’t count the number of times I have done it with no problem.
This particular day, I found myself actually at the beginning of the town, way past where I should have turned off. I must have driven across the traffic light junction without turning left, although I had no recollection of doing so. I drove back towards the hospital I needed but found myself almost home, and far too late to get to the appointment. It really upset me.
I done that journey

Continuation….
I have done that journey many times since without any issues, so I have no idea what happened the day I got lost.
