Having recently come out of hospital after replacement shoulder joint surgery I have been told to sleep on my back, inclined with my arm and shoulder supported by a cushion. I have slept like this for a week now and can't believe how comfy I am. I don't wake up all stiff, sleep really deeply, no wriggling around and no getting up to go to the toilet in the night yet I know as soon as I can I will go back to sleeping on my side, visiting the toilet numerous times, tossing and turning etc. Just don't understand it 🤷♀️
