A friend of mine was on Mounjaro
for a long time and did lose weight but she also lost most of her muscle. Apparently this is a well-known but unpublicised side-effect. She’s come off it for that reason and is now trying to get the weight off with exercise and diet.

I take it that unless posting negatively people have nothing to say 🤔 Lots of people I know are taking the weight loss injections, both Mounjaro and Wygovy and so far I haven’t heard any horror stories. I think maybe you were a bit brutal with yourself when injecting - just gently put the needle in, there’s no need to literally jab yourself. Hope it goes well for you and that you have the success you are looking for - well done for being proactive

So …the needle bent and broke so not doing something right..any views.? Has anyone had this happen before?

This thread is for support and queries arising from injections and other treatments…please be kind..

Know from another thread, some comments/opinions are very judgmental…obesity is a condition which affects a lot of people..we shouldn’t feel bad about trying to lose weight in any form…

I’ve only told 2 people as it seems many have strong views against the weight loss injections but, surely, whether we can get tier 3 NHS treatment or, private treatment, shows we’re acting responsibly for our individual health

Wondering how many people are struggling alone?

how many are struggling alone with weight issues?
