So have I!!!
The blankets were more reasonable than the pads, so I thought i could lay the blanket on my bed and sleep on it, hopefully.

I've just ordered one of those cooling blankets from Amazon. We shall see!
If it works I may order another to make into a Cooling Kaftan a la Margo Leadbettergrin

I thought about ebay, but wanted to read the reviews on amazon.
I'll go and have a nose around ebay now, though.
Still trying to work out if I'm the equivalent of two cavapoos!

I have two small gel cooling mats by my side in bed all year round. It is lovely to reach an arm or leg onto them. They do warm up quite quickly with prolonged contact though. I buy them on Ebay.

The dog cooling mats are effective. I have hot flushes still, and I use them on my pillow, I find if I have a cool head the flushes aren’t so bad. They do get warm when you lie on them for a while, so I have two, and swap them over, they soon go cool again. You can also put them in the fridge to get them really cold.

I've currently got our pillowcases in the freezer.

I am also a cold bird but I haven't needed my hwb for two nights. The duvet is only folded over in case I feel chilled. I could sleep on a clothes line so I am sleeping with only a dressing gown covering me. On average in this heat I sleep for 7 hours.

I on;y used a fan when I had a cat, she loved it and I pointed it away from me towards the door.

I've just been looking at the dog mats on amazon, trying to work out which part of me needs cooling the most. smile

Thank you Miss Adventure, you may well get right!

I think some people use the dog cooling mats.
Its certainly the cheapest way to find out if these things work

I still have my hot water bottle for my feet,🤣 I m still tucked under a nice fat duvet, so as you can see I never ever suffer from heat hahaha you’re probably sweating reading this but it’s true I rarely feel the heat.

Forgive me Gransnetters if this is in the wrong category but I don’t post very often. My health is suffering through lack of sleep and I’m wanting to buy the best double cooling sheet and pillowcases I can possibly afford. Don’t laugh but I started by looking at pet cooling mats until I realised that I can get them for human beings. I’ve skirted through a well known online retailer which I usually use and am happy to use, but the choice is too much. Has anyone bought a double cooling sheet or cooling mat that actually keeps them cool for a reasonable time.
