Has anyone used CBD oil for hip Arthritis pain and if so was it successful in reducing pain and inflammation and what strength did you use?

I did look into it, mainly, the side effects put me off as I have IBS. There's also limited scientific evidence to support its effectiveness. Arthritis Action said that some studies suggest it may not be beneficial.

I took it for quite a while, for mainly my hands. Unfortunately I had to stop taking it as I was going to be travelling to the Middle East and Australia where it's not advised to take in.Then CV hit and I couldn't get the one I used.

Mine was 6% it was from a on line company expensive but after taking for a few months I found my fingers moved better. It was when I stopped I noticed they reverted back to stiffness.
Sadly I couldn't restart as I developed AF and I take an Anticoagulant, so it's classed as a contraindication.
It's basically gave me an easier hand movement, it's not a magic bullet.

I have also had x2 Hip replacements and a knee due to OA that's the only thing that helps with significant OA.

I think I might give it a try if I can get it past my husbands strict ' its a drug' talk. I am already on a controlled drug so hey why not if its going to help the pain and stiffness in my bendy hands.

Not sure if you can find the old thread on this - lots of contributions and the consensus was ‘snake oil’ and expensive too for something that didn’t work.

I haven’t used CBD oil myself, but I’ve been following discussions like this with interest. From what I’ve seen, it really seems to vary from person to person. Some people report mild improvements with stiffness and joint movement in their hands, while others don’t notice much change at all. The strength people mention tends to be around 5–6%, but again, results seem mixed.

Posting late but this might still be relevant, after months of inconsistent results with OTC CBD, I went through Releaf for a prescribed medical cannabis oil. The THC-inclusive formulation made a real difference for joint pain specifically, in a way that pure CBD products never did. The consultation process was straightforward and covered arthritis directly.

Have you tried Glucosomine? I am taking it with Omega 3 and Turmeric and it is definitely helping. My consultant recommend trying it.
