My better? half decided to use a degreaser on our terracotta tiles in the kitchen. He managed to remove all the sealer so that they sucked up dirt like a sponge and we ended up having to re tile the floor!

There is a sealant you can buy from DIY shops which is non-slip mr.glamma can't remember the name but if you pop into any of the shops they will help you find the correct one.

DD3 has an old house with quarry tiles in the kitchen. They are permanently dirty no matter how many times they are washed and I was wondering if there is a way of sealing them or something like that. Bertie (1 year old) is permanently filthy from crawling on them and, as for the 10 sec rule - never.

Has anyone any tips? She is keen to keep them if at all possible.
