Has/is anyone using a Karcher window cleaning gadget? If so, is it any good, are there drawbacks?

The window cleaner came last week and charged £40 shock so a Karcher seems like a good investment. sunshine

I love my Karcher. I have big patio doors and windows and glass shower doors. I Use the Karcher after we've had a shower and they look sparkling - this previously would have taken me a long time with various products to achieve. It's great for the patio doors which I could never manage to get streak free before. Don't buy the expensive window cleaning spray they try to sell you , just spray on a mixture of white vinegar and water or washing up liquid and water and vacuum off. I use mine all the time and it makes a previous lengthy chore almost fun.

I use Fairy liquid, but have heard that diluted fabric softener like Comfort leaves the windows clean for longer. Has anyond tried it?

The Karcher WV 70 Plus is very easy to use and gives a nice, streak-free finish on glass. Other window-cleaning options such as microfibre cloths and glass-cleaning sprays are cheaper.

However, if you have a lot of windows or wall tiles and like to keep them sparkling clean, the Karcher will save you a lot of time and effort. I also used it.

kitty there is still water to mop up after using it plus I have to stop to recharge it before continuing with other windows.

We have a Karcher, use it mainly inside as we have a window cleaner for the outside (£13 for detached house plus conservatory minus the roof, £5 for just the front of the house). DH does conservatory roof with a gadget on a long pole (Lidl)

I use the karcher spray bottle with the soft pad first, then the karcher vacuum, but have to finish off with kitchen roll or similar. In fact had planned to do that this am as DD2 has left fingermarks and snail trails on the patio doors.

Must go.
