Can anyone recommend a corner shower caddy/shelve/basket that doesn't go rusty quickly or even a plastic one that is very good hmm

Thanks

I have a good one from John Lewis which has survived unscathed for at least three years. They have various sizes and styles (or did have when I bought it)

Organiser Pole with Acrylic Shelves - Chrome. 832/9817 Aargos and others

It depends how posh you want it to look. I have one of these that sits on the corner of our bath. It seem quite secure, its functional if not exotically modern at least it not chrome which will rust.

It is on an extending pole so you would need to check how high the bath or shower is as it jams up against the ceiling. To shorten ours to fit it from the bath to the ceiling we had to shorten the adjustable end of the two poles with a hacksaw. Not a difficult job.

I think all the metal ones do rust eventually suzz so my philosophy is to buy a reasonably cheap one and replace it when it starts to go. I got mine from Matalan. It's still OK after 18 months and was under £10.

I've a beautiful cream one, suzz, but the bugger's rusting.

Managing to keep it at bay with Jif and an old toothbrush, but to honest, I've got better things to do with my time.

It's often a case of style over convenience if you don't have lashings of money, isn't it? Or do I mean the other way round?

Hobsons' Choice, sometimes......

I've had a cheap plastic one for about 13 years and it has seen better days - I shall go to Dunelm for a replacement.

Lidl or Aldi have them on offer sometimes last one we bought we had about 3/4 yrs before it started looking tired but to replace is very resonable about £12.00,again on a suction pole that secures to the ceiling and end of bath.

I got a nice one from our local independent bathroom centre which has lasted quite a while, but it starting to rust now (thought it was my slovenly ways, not keeping it scrubbed). It's lasted several years but I don't know the make and can't get another as the store burnt down last year and the owner has just been arrested in Spain charged with arson and fraud. Looks like I'll be off to John Lewis!
